We are thrilled to share GAIA’s 2024 Annual Report and hope you enjoy reading about our progress over the past year. 

2024 was a milestone year for GAIA. We continued making meaningful strides in the fight against AIDS in Malawi, while evolving our programs to meet the community’s broader and changing health needs with compassion and equity.

Program highlights include:

• Our Nursing Scholars Program continued to grow, with 589 graduates and 342 fellows added to the nursing workforce. 
• Our Mobile Health Clinics (MHCs) surpassed 3 million client visits, with 272,942 clinic visits conducted last year. 
• And GAIA expanded our Health Workforce Development Program to Zambia, offering scholarships to nursing students pursuing midwifery and fellowships to nurse-midwives!

In addition to these incredible milestones, our Annual Report features sections highlighting expanded antenatal and postnatal care services at our MHCs, staff and board site visits to Malawi, and the GAIA team’s continued participation in research and advocacy efforts.
