GAIA launches its transformational Health Workforce Development Program in Zambia!
This International Nurses Day, GAIA is thrilled to announce the launch of the Health Workforce Program in Zambia! This initiative will improve health outcomes and access to quality, specialized care in Zambia through the provision of nursing scholarships and fellowships.

Mobile Health Clinics: Transforming the health landscape for rural women in Malawi
Maternal and neonatal mortality remain stubbornly high in Malawi, with progress stalled as long distances to healthcare facilities keep many pregnant women from accessing the skilled antenatal care that can prevent fatal complications. This barrier of distance to healthcare is particularly acute in the large, rural district of Mangochi.

A Milestone Moment: GAIA Mobile Health Clinics Reach 3 Million Visits!
The first GAIA Elizabeth Taylor Mobile Health Clinic (MHC) was launched in Malawi in 2008 with seed funding from The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF). 15 years since program launch, the mobile clinics have now reached 3 million client visits, a banner moment for the program and its reach.
